Solid Bent Wood Components

Our solid bent wood range is produced by steam bending and press bending solid hardwood – white ash, black walnut, oak, beech and zebrawood – into curved components with a continuous grain that follows the curve.
Steam bending suits tight, compound curves and one-off profiles; press bending suits repeatable production runs with consistent curvature. Both processes are followed by controlled drying and moisture-content checks to minimise warping, cracking and spring-back.
Typical parts include chair frames and legs, table and sofa components, arches, handrails, balusters and decorative trim. Tolerances are held to +/-0.5 mm, and each batch passes a six-stage quality control process before shipment.
Tell us the profile, species, section and quantity and we will advise the most economical bending method and quote accordingly.
